Hi !!!! this is Yuchen Wu :)

 

I am an artist and storyteller, born and raised in Shanghai, China. I am majoring in Art&Design at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. My artistic practice spans from 2D & stop motion animation, video, photography, and documentary, to illustration, mixed-media, and public art.

My art incorporates my broad academic interest in social work, women's and gender studies, and museum studies. I enjoy the process of art-making and aspire to use my creativity to connect people, to provoke conversations, to bring joy and hope, and to empower communities.

In my free time, I work on theater productions. I’m a stage manager, a prop fabricator, and once a light board operator.
